Integrity and Professionalism
Recently we received a copy of this email sent to the Burnley Council regarding our services.
"As you can imagine due to the nature of our work we receive a lot of complaints in relation to landlords about poor condition, poor management practices, unlawful evictions; and even intelligence sharing in relation to serious organised crime.
Despite this we know there are many landlords and managing agents that work professionally providing excellent standards but it so nice when we hear it from other people which is why I wanted to share the email with you.

Clare, you may recall, a few weeks ago, there was an issue whereby the kitchen ceiling and wall became extremely damp due to what was obviously a water leak. This happened on Saturday evening, was reported on the following Sunday and it was not until Monday, that I could get an emergency plumber in to do the necessary fix
It turned out that the tenant had been playing with the central heating system and caused the flooding in No 11 Granby Street which then impacted No 9.
I was not best pleased as around that time I was ‘firefighting’ on so many property issues for homes2love [leaking showers and a flood in a property in south London]
Well I’m sending this e-mail as I would like the Licencing Team at Burnley Council know that the actions taken by both the Landlord [Mohammed Butt] and the Letting Agent [RPC – led by Mujeeb Rehman] have been exemplary
These guys have just been absolutely amazing and are a credit to their profession – they have handled this issue with great integrity and professionalism
On being alerted that there was a problem by a member of your team, Steve from RPC immediately went out to 11 Granby Street to turn off the water to stop further ingress
Mohammed [the landlord] was brilliant in no questions asked, paying for the emergency plumbing visit and has since sent in his team to repair/repaint the ceiling and wall in the kitchen and repair the kitchen light
Often Landlord’s & Letting Agents come in for such a bad press, so it’s great when there are shining examples when this trend is bucked
